Rayher biodegradable glitter, ultra fine – cellulose glitter without microplastics

Rayher Bio-Glitter Eco friendly ultra fine (art. no. 39589) is a fine loose glitter for craft projects and sparkle effects. It is based on cellulose from hardwoods, preferably eucalyptus, from responsibly managed, PEFC-certified plantations. According to Rayher, it is made from naturally sourced raw materials, contains no microplastics at all and is designed to biodegrade quickly and safely in natural freshwater environments. It is made in Germany.

The bottle contains 7 g. Choose your colour from the options.

Applying the glitter

Rayher recommends sprinkling it into glitter adhesive; alternatively, it can be sprinkled onto double-sided tape. Apply the glue over the whole area, as the glitter only sticks where there is adhesive. Then sprinkle it on generously and tap off the excess.

Practical bottle

The bottle has two openings. Use the fine dispensing opening in the lid to sprinkle sparingly. To return excess glitter, unscrew the lid and let the glitter run back into the bottle from a base such as a sheet of paper.

Fine or ultra fine?

Rayher also offers the biodegradable glitter in a fine grain size (art. no. 39588). Choose ultra fine for small areas and details where the grain should not stand out.
