Botz slip trailer bottles 9031 – empty bottles for fine lines and lettering on ceramics

The Botz slip trailer bottles (art. no. 9031) are empty plastic bottles for applying engobes, Unidekor and earthenware and stoneware glazes to ceramics before firing. The set contains 5 bottles of 50 ml each, every one with an inner cap and a screw cap.

The bottles suit fine lines, outlines and lettering. The Botz Adapter Set 9030, sold separately, lets you fit tips of 1.2, 1.5 and 1.8 mm diameter. With 5 bottles you can keep several colours ready at the same time without decanting in between.

Filling and using the bottles

Stir the engobe or glaze well before filling to avoid lumps. If it is too thick, thin it with a little water until it flows evenly from the bottle. Follow the instructions of the glaze or engobe manufacturer. Apply the mixture to bisque-fired ceramics and let it dry thoroughly. Apply a second coat if needed. Put the cap back on the bottles after painting so that nothing dries out.

What the bottles are for

The slip trailer bottles are containers for application. For fine lines and lettering, combine them with the tips from the Botz Adapter Set 9030. The adapter and tips are not included with the slip trailer bottles. For larger areas, use a brush instead.
