The Herbin metal stamp head with a letter is the embossing head of a wax seal stamp: you can use it to seal letters and envelopes or add decorative touches to scrapbooking pages, cards and other craft projects.

Only the head is supplied, without a handle. You screw it onto a suitable wooden handle and can later swap it for a different head, so one handle can be used for several designs. Choose your letter from the options.

How to seal

Screw the head firmly onto the handle. Drip some sealing wax onto the paper and wait briefly until it is no longer completely runny. Then press the stamp straight down, hold it in place for a few seconds and lift it off vertically. If you pull it away at an angle, the impression will smudge. Hot wax can cause burns, so work carefully and on a heatproof surface.

Combining handles and heads

Because the head comes without a handle, you need a suitable holder for your first stamp. For a monogram or a word, simply buy several heads and swap them on the same handle.
