Rayher glitter glue sticks – 10 hot glue sticks in gold, silver and bronze

Rayher glitter glue sticks are hot glue sticks, Ø 7 mm and 100 mm long, that create glued joins and seals with a glitter effect. The bag contains 10 sticks in silver, silver glitter, gold, gold glitter, bronze and bronze glitter. The sticks are intended for low-temperature glue guns that take 7 mm sticks. The melting temperature is approx. 90 °C according to Rayher.

You can use them to glue paper, card, wood and other craft materials and to add decorative touches, for example glitter stars and ice crystals for Christmas decorations, table decorations, lanterns or greetings cards. The sticks can also be used as sealing wax for envelopes, invitations and packaging.

Gluing and sealing

Insert the stick into the preheated gun and apply the glue in dots. Join the parts straight away, as the glue cools quickly. To seal, drip a little melted glue onto the paper and shape it as you like. According to Rayher, cooled glue can be peeled off paper or a pane of glass, so you can also make glitter shapes as loose pieces.

Which glue gun is suitable?

Because of the low melting temperature, use a low-temperature glue gun that takes 7 mm sticks. Guns for sticks with an 11 mm diameter are not suitable for these sticks.

Melted hot glue is hot and there is a risk of burns. Do not touch freshly applied glue and work on a heat-resistant surface.
