Rayher polystyrene female torso – white base for painting, gluing and embroidering

The Rayher polystyrene female torso is a white torso made of polystyrene (EPS), measuring 51 × 69 cm. You can use it as a base for crafting and decorating, or for displaying fashion and accessories. The surface is smooth, so paint, glue and decorative materials adhere evenly.

Decorating the torso

Polystyrene is dissolved by solvents. Use solvent-free paints and glues, and avoid spray varnishes. If in doubt, test on an inconspicuous area first. Light colours cover well on the white surface; for dark shades, apply the paint in two thin coats and let it dry in between.
