The AMI drawing board is a firm drawing surface with a clip. You can fix paper in DIN sizes to it for sketching, drawing and painting. The board is made of brown hardboard, and the chrome-plated clip is 9.5 cm wide. It holds the sheet at the top edge so that it does not slip while you work. The board is flat and easy to handle, so you can take it along as a work surface to class, to university or for sketching on the go.

The drawing board is available in several DIN sizes. Choose the size from the options.

Working with the board

Press the clip up and slide the top edge of the paper underneath. Line the sheet up with the edges of the board before you release the clip, and it will sit straight and firm. If you are working with soft pencils or thin paper, place one or two extra sheets underneath. This makes drawing more comfortable than working directly on the hard board.

Which size to choose

The board should match the size of your paper. For sketchbooks and drawing sheets, choose the board in the same DIN size. Smaller sizes are easier to carry around, while larger ones offer more space for technical drawings and large sketches.
