Artemio wooden shadow box, 23 x 27 cm, wall-mounted

Artemio wooden shadow box – 16 compartments to paint and hang

The Artemio shadow box (art. no. VIVT2328) is a wooden box to paint and decorate, in which you can display small collectables, miniatures or keepsakes. It measures 23 × 27 × 4 cm and has 16 compartments. Open the viewing window whenever you want to rearrange the compartments.

You can hang the box on the wall, or simply stand it on a piece of furniture. The compartments come in different sizes: ten of approx. 5.5 × 5.5 cm, four of approx. 8 × 5 cm and two of approx. 11 × 5 cm. This leaves room for small items as well as slightly longer pieces.

Decorating the shadow box

Sand the wood lightly before painting so that the paint adheres evenly. Mask the viewing window, hinges and catch with masking tape before you apply any paint. Paint the insides of the compartments first and let them dry completely before you paint the outside. Finally, apply a varnish that suits your paint if you wish.
