Craft box with 450 natural wooden pieces – clothes pegs, sticks, beads

Craft box with 450 natural wooden pieces – for models, structures and decorations

The craft box contains 450 natural wooden pieces you can use to make models, small structures, figures or decorations. The pieces come in a clear plastic box, so you can see the contents at a glance and store everything together.

The box combines several types of piece: clothes pegs, craft sticks in three sizes, wooden sticks in two thicknesses, and round and square beads. The many uniform pieces can be used to build surfaces, frames and stacked structures. The beads are suitable for details such as wheels, buttons or the heads of figures.

Working with the wooden pieces

The pieces are untreated and can be glued and painted. For sturdy structures, glue the craft sticks and wooden sticks with wood glue and let each layer set briefly before you build on. With hot glue a piece holds straight away, but you have to work faster and line the pieces up immediately. Natural wood soaks up paint, so acrylic paint often only gives even coverage after two coats. It is best to paint individual pieces before gluing them together, as you can then reach tight spots.

• The long craft sticks are suitable for surfaces, fences and roofs.
• Use the thin wooden sticks for lattices, struts and fine details.
• The clothes pegs serve as holders, legs or grippers on models.
