Beech Wooden Feet – Smooth Blanks for Dolls, Figures and Decorations

These beech wooden feet are blanks for handmade dolls, puppets and figures. They measure 15 × 25 mm and have a hole with a diameter of 6.5 mm. They are sold as a pair, so two feet for one figure.

The surface is smooth. You can paint, stain or varnish the feet to match the clothing and character of your figure. Beech wood is sturdy and suits doll making, decorations and other DIY projects.

Finishing the wooden feet

If needed, sand the feet lightly and remove the dust before you paint, stain or varnish them. Try the stain or varnish on a test piece first, as beech wood takes colour differently depending on the grain. Before gluing, work out which dowel rod, wooden dowel or wire fits the 6.5 mm diameter hole, so that the join is secure before you apply the glue.
