da Vinci VARIO Brush Holder with NOVA Brush Set 11863

da Vinci VARIO Brush Holder for up to 36 Brushes – with NOVA Brush Set

The da Vinci set from the 90009 series combines the VARIO BRUSH HOLDER & WASHER with the NOVA anniversary brush set 11863. The holder is used to store and dry artists' brushes and takes up to 36 brushes of different sizes. Rotating wings make it easier to insert and remove them.

The five brushes from the NOVA set are included, so you can start straight away. The set is a practical addition to your painting space and makes a gift for anyone who loves painting.

Organising and drying brushes

After washing, squeeze the water out of the hairs and place the brushes in the holder. They dry in their own fixed spot, and your workspace stays tidy. Whatever holder you use, never dry brushes upright with the hairs pointing up, as water runs into the ferrule. It is best to arrange them by size or use, so that you can quickly reach for the right brush for details, lines or larger areas when painting.

What is in the NOVA anniversary brush set

Set 11863 contains five brushes with synthetic fibres and a short handle: one each from series 122 (size 8), 1270 (size 4) and 1373 (size 8), and two from series 1570 (sizes 2 and 8). The selection of round and flat brushes covers acrylic and gouache painting. With the holder you have room to add more brushes to the set later.
