The FIT FOR SCHOOL brush set from da Vinci contains three synthetic brushes for acrylic painting: two round brushes (no. 2 and no. 6) and one flat brush (no. 12). It was developed together with teachers and designed for art lessons. You can draw fine lines and fill areas without having to hunt for individual brushes.

The fibres are extra fine and springy, so colour gradients come out clean. The ferrule is seamless and silver-coloured, and the handle is short and neon green. Both round brushes have a protective cap that protects the tip in the pencil case or school bag.

Which brush for which job?

Use the round brush no. 2 for fine lines, outlines and small details. The round brush no. 6 suits medium strokes and smaller areas. The flat brush no. 12 covers larger areas, such as backgrounds. The short handle sits close to your hand, so you can guide the brush with good control at the table.

Care after painting

Once dry, acrylic paint becomes waterproof and is then very hard to remove from the fibres. So rinse the brushes out with water straight after painting, reshape the tips and leave them to dry lying flat. Do not leave them standing in a water jar with the fibres facing down, or the hairs will bend.
