Schipper Paint by Numbers Large and Small Velvet Paws, 24 x 30 cm

Paint by Numbers Large and Small Velvet Paws – cat design to paint yourself

With the “Große und kleine Samtpfoten” (Large and Small Velvet Paws) kit from Schipper (art. no. 609240437), you paint a cat design by numbers in a 24 × 30 cm format. The kit contains paints, a printed painting template and a brush. You do not need any drawing experience: the numbers on the template show you which colour goes in which area.

According to the manufacturer, Schipper kits in the 24 × 30 cm format consist of a painting board with a linen texture and ready-mixed water-based acrylic paints. So you do not have to mix any colours yourself. A check sheet and detailed instructions are also part of this range.

Painting step by step

Find a bright spot with plenty of light so you can read the small numbers easily. Paint each area with the colour that matches its number. It is best to work colour by colour, as you will then need to change brushes less often. Let neighbouring areas dry briefly before painting next to them, so the colours do not run into each other.

• Close the paint pots tightly after painting so the acrylic paint does not dry out.
• Rinse the brush in water between colours while the paint is still wet. After rinsing, leave it to dry.

Who is the kit suitable for?

The kit suits anyone who would like to paint a picture from a template, working step by step. At 24 × 30 cm, the picture is a manageable size and fits standard picture frames. Once it has dried, you can put it in a frame to hang or give as a gift.
