DEKA LACK high-gloss acrylic paint 50 ml – glossy paint for many surfaces
DEKA LACK high-gloss paint is a water-based acrylic paint with a glossy finish. You can use it for painting, printing and stencilling on paper, wood, glass, ceramics, leather, stone, metal or polystyrene. According to the manufacturer, it is fully opaque, lightfast and gloss-stable. Choose your colour from the options.
Once dry, the paint is waterproof and flexible. For particularly durable results you can bake it at up to 170 °C, for example on ceramics or glass. The 50 ml bottle suits smaller projects and trying out new shades.
Working with the high-gloss paint
Stir the paint well before use and apply it in thin coats. Several thin layers cover more evenly than one thick coat, which tends to run. Water makes the paint easier to brush, but add no more than 5 %, otherwise the opacity suffers. The shades can be mixed with each other, so you can create your own colours. Clean brushes and stencils with water while the paint is still wet; once dry, it is waterproof.
Baking and choosing a size
If you want to make glass or ceramics particularly durable, bake the dried paint at up to 170 °C. Do a test piece on the same material first to check adhesion and gloss. Which bottle size suits you depends on your project: the 50 ml is a middle option between the small 25 ml bottle for testing and the 250 ml bottle for larger surfaces.
