POSCA PC-1MC – acrylic paint marker with extra-fine bullet tip for fine details

The POSCA PC-1MC paint marker is a water-based acrylic marker with an extra-fine bullet tip (0.7–1 mm) for drawings, lettering and small details. The paint is opaque and matt, quick-drying and odourless. According to the manufacturer, it can be mixed and layered, and the pigments are stable and highly UV-resistant. You can use the pen indoors and outdoors.

The fine tip suits drawing and colouring, scrapbooking and card making, tableware and upcycling projects. The paint does not bleed through paper. Choose your colour from the options.

Surfaces and durability

On porous surfaces such as paper, wood or textiles, the paint adheres permanently. On most smooth, non-porous surfaces, however, it can be wiped off. This is handy for trial sketches on glass or plastic, but not for designs that need to last. Do a small test first on the material you want to paint.

Working with the PC-1MC

Shake the pen with the cap closed and press the tip down on a surface several times until the paint reaches the tip. Apply the paint in thin layers. Let each layer dry before adding the next, so nothing smudges and the area is covered evenly. With a line width of 0.7–1 mm, larger areas fill in only slowly. The tip is intended for outlines, patterns, lettering and details on cards. If the tip gets dirty, wash it out. Replace a worn tip with the PCR1 replacement tip.
