efco felting wool is made from 100 % virgin wool and is suitable for both wet felting and needle felting. Each unit contains 50 g. You can use it to make felt balls, figures, jewellery or decorations. According to the manufacturer, it is intended for beginners and experienced crafters alike.

Choose your colour from the options. As you can work both felting techniques with the same wool, you do not need separate material for different projects.

Working with the felting wool

For wet felting, pull the wool into thin strands and lay them in several layers, each layer crossing the previous one. Then moisten them with warm soapy water and rub gently at first until the fibres hold together, then more firmly. For needle felting, jab a felting needle vertically into the wool until it compacts and keeps the shape you want. Work on a foam or felt mat. The needle is sharp and breaks easily, so do not bend it sideways and keep your fingers out of the line of the stab.
