Sakura Gelly Roll set of 24 gel pens – glitter, metallic and Moonlight

The Sakura Gelly Roll set contains 24 gel pens for writing, drawing and decorating. It consists of three effect ranges and one white Basic pen.

The gel ink is water-based and pigmented. According to Sakura, it gives bright, intense colours that do not fade. According to the manufacturer, the ink flow stays constant, without pressure, right to the last stroke.

Which pen for which effect?

The three ranges in the set differ in the effect of the ink. This is how you find the right pen for your design:

• Stardust (12 pens): very intense glitter effect, for accents and embellishments
• Metallic (6 pens): deep shine, for lettering and outlines
• Moonlight (5 pens): backlit effect
• Basic (1 pen): opaque white

Which paper can you write on?

The set is intended for coloured, white, black, matt and glossy paper. On dark paper, the white Basic pen and the effect pens give you visible accents. This makes the set practical for cards, bullet journals, scrapbooking and lettering where ordinary pens barely show up.
