Faber-Castell Rainbow Glitter Paint – glitter gel for dried paints

Faber-Castell rainbow glitter paint is a glitter gel in rainbow colours that gives your opaque paint pictures a glittery finish. According to Faber-Castell, it gives a glitter effect to every colour in the paint box.

The set contains 2 tubes of 12 ml each, 24 ml in total, on a blister card. Two tubes are enough to spread glitter over several areas of a picture or across several pictures.

Applying the glitter

Paint your design with opaque paints first and leave it to dry completely. Only then apply the glitter gel to the dry painted area. The colours underneath stay clear, and the glitter sits on top as a separate layer.

Uses for the glitter paint

You can use it to add highlights, for example on rainbows, stars or water, or cover larger areas. Because the gel goes on dried paint, you can finish a picture at your leisure and decide only at the end which areas should sparkle.
