STABILO woody 3 in 1 colouring pencils, box of 10

STABILO woody 3 in 1 – colouring pencil, watercolour and wax crayon in a box of 10

The STABILO woody 3 in 1 combines colouring pencil, watercolour and wax crayon in a single pencil. The cardboard box holds 10 pencils for colouring in, drawing and, with a little water, creating watercolour effects. According to STABILO, the pencils have high opacity and also work on dark paper and card.

The lead is 10 mm in diameter (XXL) and, according to the manufacturer, goes as far as eight standard colouring pencils. That pays off when you are colouring large areas. The thick, round shape suits small children's hands. The lead is break-resistant.

Working with the woody

Used dry, it draws like a colouring pencil. The soft colour covers large areas quickly, and on dark paper the colour stays visible. For watercolour effects, run a wet brush over the colour and spread it. Use sturdy paper or card, as thin paper cockles easily when wet.

Drawing on glass and metal

The woody also draws on glass and metal. According to STABILO, the colour can be removed from glass with water, for example from designs on windows for Christmas or Easter. Test that it washes off on an inconspicuous spot first.
