Faber-Castell TK 9071 Clutch Pencil Leads Ø 2 mm – Refills for Lead Holders

The Faber-Castell TK 9071 clutch pencil lead, Ø 2 mm, is the refill lead for your lead holder. You can use it to write, sketch and do technical drawing. According to the manufacturer, the leads fit the Faber-Castell lead holders TK 9400, TK 9500 and TK 4600. They are 130 mm long, break-resistant and glide exceptionally well. The lines are deep black, and corrections are easy to erase. The leads are also suitable for diazo copying, so you can produce drawings for blueprints.

Each tin contains 10 leads of a single grade. If you would like to try several grades, you need a separate tin for each one. Choose the grade from the options.

Which grade to choose

The hardness determines how fine and how dark the line is. The grades in the H range are the hard leads: they give lighter, finer lines and suit technical drawings. HB and B are enough for writing and sketches. The soft leads in the range B to 3B give darker lines and soft hatching, but wear down faster and smudge more easily.

Check the diameter

This tin contains leads with Ø 2 mm. Lead holders are also available for 3.15 mm; these 2 mm leads do not fit such holders. Before buying, check which diameter your holder takes. Faber-Castell only offers grades from 4B to 6B in Ø 3.15 mm.
