Faber-Castell DUST-FREE Black Eraser – Plastic Eraser, Paper Sleeve

Faber-Castell DUST-FREE black eraser – clean erasing on paper

The Faber-Castell DUST-FREE is a black plastic eraser for graphite and colouring pencil lines on paper. Erasing produces little waste: the crumbs roll together and are easy to lift off the sheet. The eraser does not smudge and does not leave colour on the paper. It is free from phthalate plasticisers. A sliding paper sleeve gives you a firm grip while erasing and protects the eraser in your pencil case.

How to erase cleanly

Erase with light pressure and always in the same direction. The crumbs roll together as you work, so you can brush them off the sheet with your hand instead of smearing them. As the eraser wears down, push the paper sleeve down so that you work with a fresh edge. With colouring pencils the result depends on the pencil: heavily pigmented, wax-based layers of colour cannot always be removed completely, so it is best to do a quick test on the edge of the sheet first.
