Eucalan Natural – unscented wool wash with lanolin

Eucalan Natural is an unscented wool wash for knitwear and other woollen items. It contains a natural proportion of lanolin and is particularly gentle on knitted pieces. The 500 ml bottle suits you if you regularly hand wash jumpers, socks, shawls or hats.

The dosage is simple: 1 teaspoon of Eucalan per 5 litres of lukewarm water. Eucalan is also available in scented varieties. Natural is the unscented variety, so it suits you if you do not want to add fragrance to your wool.

How to wash wool with Eucalan

Hand washing protects the stitches and the shape of your knitted piece.

• Fill a bowl with lukewarm water and add 1 teaspoon of Eucalan per 5 litres.
• Press the knitted piece under the water and leave it to soak briefly. Do not rub or wring it, so that the fibres do not felt.
• Eucalan is a no-rinse wash, so rinsing is not necessary.
• Gently press out the water, ideally by rolling the piece in a towel.
• Leave the piece to dry flat and shape it as it dries.
