URSUS Black Card Pad A3 – 10 Sheets of Sturdy Craft Card

The URSUS black card pad contains 10 sheets of black card in large A3 format (29.7 × 42 cm) at 300 gsm. You can use it for craft projects where the paper needs to hold its shape, such as silhouettes, window pictures, cards, folders or backgrounds.

The pad is glued on one side, so the sheets stay together until you use them and lie flat. At 300 gsm the card is much stiffer than ordinary craft paper. Cut edges and glued-on pieces therefore stay stable.

Working with black card

Light colours stand out particularly well on the dark card. Use a gel pen, metallic pen or acrylic marker to draw motifs and lettering. For clean edges, cut with a craft knife and ruler on a cutting mat, and use scissors for curves. Glue sparingly so the card does not warp. Cutting an A3 sheet in half gives you two A4 sheets; folded in half, it makes an A4 greetings card.

Which size to choose

A3 suits large silhouettes, posters and backdrops. For smaller projects and cards, pads in this range are also available in A4, in black as well as in assorted colours.
