AMI empty half watercolour pans – fill and dry your own colour mixes

With the AMI empty 1/2 watercolour pans, you can fill your own pans with tube watercolour, leave them to dry and carry them in a watercolour box. The pack contains 40 plastic pans, each holding 1.6 ml.

This way you can use your own colour mixes or leftover tube paint as pan colour. The pans are half size, fit watercolour boxes made for half pans and clip in place.

Filling the pans

Squeeze the tube paint into the pans and let it dry completely. Watercolour shrinks as it dries, so it is better to top up in two thinner layers rather than filling the pans to the rim in one go. Label the box or a colour chart so that you can find your mixes again later.
