Cléopâtre Adhésive – clear glue gel for paper and card

Cléopâtre Adhésive is a strong, clear glue gel based on water and PVA. You can use it to stick paper, card and cellophane, for example in craft projects, collages and school projects. Choose the pack size from the options.

Once dry, it leaves a very flexible, invisible film of glue that does not discolour paper. The glue is washable. The bottle has a dosing tip (biberon cap), so you can apply the glue precisely. Cléopâtre has made this classic since 1930, and it is manufactured in France.

Gluing neatly

Because the glue is water-based, less is more. A thin film is enough. Too much glue makes thin paper wet and wavy.

• Apply a thin layer of glue to one of the two surfaces and, if needed, spread it with a brush or a piece of card.
• Place the parts together and press down firmly.
• Leave to dry before moving or putting weight on the piece.
• Remove fresh glue residue with warm soapy water.

What the glue is suitable for

The gel is suitable for paper, board and card as well as cellophane, so for collages, scrapbooking, greetings cards and craft work in the classroom. Because it dries clear, glued areas stay discreet even on pale paper. For heavy materials or small parts that have to carry weight permanently, it is better to use a glue designed for that purpose.
