UHU Kontakt Kraftkleber gel contact adhesive – non-drip bonding, even on vertical surfaces and overhead

UHU Kontakt Kraftkleber gel is a non-drip, all-purpose contact adhesive in a 42 g tube for wood, metal, glass, leather, fabric and other materials. Thanks to its gel-like consistency, you can apply it evenly, cleanly and sparingly. This helps above all on vertical surfaces and for overhead work, because nothing runs off.

The bond remains permanently flexible and compensates for stresses in the material. This makes it suitable for flexible materials such as leather, rubber or felt. After bonding, you can continue working on the parts straight away. The bond withstands temperatures from -15 °C to +70 °C.

Which materials can you bond?

The gel adhesive bonds wood and wood-based materials, many plastics, metal, glass, porcelain, ceramic, leather, rubber, felt, cork and fabric, including combinations of different materials. It is not suitable for Styropor®, soft PVC, PE and PP.

How to use contact adhesive

Contact adhesive grips immediately when the parts are joined, so decide on the exact position beforehand.

• Both surfaces must be clean, dry and free from grease.
• Apply the gel thinly and evenly to both surfaces.
• Leave the adhesive to flash off briefly until it no longer feels wet.
• Press the parts together firmly and precisely in position. Repositioning afterwards is no longer possible.
• Close the tube again immediately after use.

Gel or liquid?

The gel form does not run and can be dosed in a controlled way on walls, edges or overhead. For small parts and edges, this gives cleaner bond lines because less adhesive squeezes out.
