Faber-Castell TK-System drawing board – precise parallels and angles
The Faber-Castell TK-System drawing board is a drawing board with a parallel rule for technical drawing on DIN-format paper. It is made of impact- and break-resistant plastic that is also resistant to compass points. Choose the format (DIN A3 or DIN A4) from the options.
The paper clamping rail also holds several sheets and is easy to release and lock again. The wide clamp presses the drawing paper down neatly. The parallel rule runs in double guide grooves and can be operated at any point. It has a one-hand double lock and a finger lift on both sides. According to Faber-Castell, the board is also suitable for left-handers.
Drawing parallels
Place the paper on the board and align the edge of the paper with the parallel rule. Then clamp it under the paper clamping rail. Now draw the lines along the rule. For further parallel lines, slide the rule up or down in the guide grooves. The parallel displacement lines and the 7° and 42° lines help you to draw angled lines. With the compass measuring scale you can take measurements directly with the compass, and the pinhole holds the compass point. The non-slip rear feet keep the board in place on the table, and the STOP and GO marking shows you the area of the rule lock.
