Möbius + Ruppert 360° full-circle protractor – measure angles all the way round
The Möbius + Ruppert full-circle protractor (art. no. 2410 0000) measures and marks angles from 0° to 360° in one go. With a diameter of 10 cm, it suits school, office and technical drawing. A set square only shows angles up to 180°. With this protractor you read large angles directly, without converting or turning it over.
The scale is embossed in black and numbered from 0° to 360° on both sides, running in opposite directions, so in both directions of rotation. This lets you read the angle in the direction you are working in. The protractor is made of polystyrene and is transparent. You can see your drawing underneath and position the vertex precisely.
How to measure and mark an angle
Place the centre of the scale on the vertex of the angle and align the 0° mark with one arm. Read the angle at the edge of the scale and make a mark with a sharp pencil. Draw a line from the vertex through this mark to create the second arm. Because the numbering runs in opposite directions, use the row of numbers that runs in your direction of rotation. The most common mistake is reading from the wrong row of numbers, so check the direction first.
Inking edge and bevel
The protractor has an inking edge and a bevel. It is therefore suitable not only for pencil and coloured pencil, but also for drawing pens and fineliners. The bevelled edge helps to stop ink from running under the edge. For clean lines, place the pen close to the edge.
