Royal Talens WASCO Wax Crayons – Set of 12 Colours

Talens WASCO Wax Crayons, Set of 12 – 12 Colours for School and Home

The set contains 12 Talens WASCO wax crayons from Royal Talens (art. no. 95721113) for drawing at school and in your free time. You can use them on paper, card, wood, textiles and stone. According to the manufacturer, the crayons have a water-based formula. They are hard enough not to break easily in children's hands, yet they still transfer colour well. The paper wrappers keep your hands clean.

According to Royal Talens, all Wasco colours comply with the European standard for toy safety.

Combining with other techniques

The wax crayons can be used on their own or together with Ecoline. For the resist technique, you first draw with the crayons and then paint over them with liquid colour: where there is wax, the colour beads up and the motif stays visible. For the scratch technique, apply Talens black cover paint to the area drawn with wax crayons and scratch the surface once the black has dried.

What is in the set

The 12 colours cover the basic shades, graduations of red and blue, two greens, plus white, reddish brown and black. White is useful on dark paper or for the resist technique. If you need fewer colours, the same crayons are also available in a set of 6.
