Caran d'Ache 849 Alpine Frost Ballpoint Pen, Special Edition

Caran d'Ache 849 Alpine Frost – metal ballpoint pen with hexagonal barrel

The Caran d'Ache 849 Alpine Frost is a retractable ballpoint pen with a hexagonal aluminium barrel for the office, school and everyday use. As a Special Edition, it features a frost design inspired by winter. Choose your colour from the options.

The hexagonal shape is the hallmark of the 849 range: the pen sits securely between your fingers and does not roll off the desk easily. With the push-button mechanism, you extend the stainless steel tip with a click, even one-handed. The ink is document-proof, so you can also use it to fill in and sign forms.

Changing the refill and giving as a gift

When the refill runs out, replace it with a Goliath refill, as the 849 is refillable. This keeps the metal pen in use for a long time. When buying a replacement, choose the line width you are used to, for example fine or medium. The ballpoint pen comes in a cardboard box with a sliding opening, which also makes it suitable for giving as a gift.
