Prym snap clasp 30 cm – to sew into bags and pouches

The Prym snap clasp 30 cm (art. no. 615244) is a bag clasp that you sew into a channel. You can use it for bags, clutches, cosmetic pouches and cases. The hinged mechanism has neatly finished joints and is easy to work with. When open, it holds the bag open and gives it shape. When closed, it stays firmly shut thanks to its tension.

The clasp is made of manganese and iron and is silver-coloured/black. The pack contains 1 piece. Instructions are printed on the back of the packaging.

Fitting the clasp

The clasp is not riveted on but slid into a sewn channel along the edge of the bag. Sew the channel wide enough for the clasp frames to fit in easily, and close the ends so that nothing slips out. You will find the exact order of steps in the instructions on the back of the packaging.

Which length to choose

At 30 cm, the clasp suits bag openings of this width, for example handbags, cases or wash bags. For small purses, the same clasp is also available in 8.5 cm.
