Prym Tubular Rivets Ø 9 mm for Leather and Thicker Materials

Use the silver Prym tubular rivets (art. no. 403171) to fasten thicker materials such as leather permanently, for example on bags, belts or bracelets. They are made of rustproof brass and have a head diameter of 9 mm. The pack contains 20 pieces, enough for several rivet points.

The grip range of 4–6 mm tells you the total thickness of material that can sit between the two parts of the rivet. The longer the post, the thicker the material can be.

Which rivet size suits your material?

Before buying, measure the total thickness of all the layers to be riveted together, ideally at the spot where the rivet will go. If it is between 4 and 6 mm, this rivet fits. If the material is thinner or thicker, choose a rivet with a suitable grip range. Prym offers tubular rivets in several sizes, which differ in head diameter and post length.

Fitting

You fit the tubular rivets with the Prym Vario Creative Tool and the tool set for tubular rivets. The set is not included in the pack.
