Prym pins 0.50 × 30 mm – fine pins for pinning fabric

You can use Prym pins (art. no. 024284) to pin pattern pieces, seams and hems when sewing. They are made of hardened steel and, according to Prym, have an easy-grip head that makes them simple to hold and push in. The point is slim, and with a diameter of 0.5 mm and a length of 30 mm the pins are intended for general use.

The steel offers good protection against rust and a balanced spring hardness, so the pins do not bend easily when pinning. The 15 g come on a card with a tin, in which you can store the pins after sewing.

Pinning neatly

Insert the pins at right angles to the seam or cut edge, with the head towards the edge of the fabric. This makes them easy to pull out as you sew. Remove them before the sewing machine needle reaches them, so that neither the needle nor the machine is damaged. The fine 0.5 mm pin suits everyday work on fabric. If you prefer sturdier pins, the Prym range also includes a version with a diameter of 0.60 mm.
