Prym Cat Needle Magnet – keep pins within reach on your sewing machine

The Prym Cat Needle Magnet (art. no. 610274) is a cat-shaped magnet on which you can rest pins and fixing pins while you sew. The cat is made of brushed stainless steel, with the magnet built into the figure itself. It has a transparent silicone suction cup, so it sticks directly to your sewing machine or to any other smooth, dust-free surface. That way the pins stay within reach and don't roll across the table.

A small tab on the suction cup lets you release the cat again without having to pull or prise at the figure.

How to use the needle magnet

Press the cat onto a smooth, clean, dust-free spot, for example on the casing of your sewing machine. On rough, textured or dusty surfaces a suction cup will not hold reliably. Simply place the pins against the magnet as soon as you pull them out of the fabric. This is quicker than a pincushion and saves you searching around your workspace. To remove it, pull the small tab until the suction cup releases.
