Prym safety pins (art. no. 081184) come in a bulk pack of 1000, each 38 mm long, for sewing, quilting and patchwork. You can also use them in many ways around the home, for example to hold fabrics together or to mark them. The slim points go in easily and are gentle on the fabric. Even with frequent opening and closing, the pins keep a strong hold.

The surface is nickel-plated, silver-coloured, burr-free and evenly polished. This lets the pins glide smoothly through the fabric, and the points do not catch on threads.

When quilting, you pin the top fabric, wadding and backing together with safety pins before quilting the layers. Depending on the size of the quilt, this takes a lot of pins.
