Prym Natural interchangeable circular knitting needle set – wooden tips from 3.5 to 8.0 mm
The Prym Natural circular knitting needle set (art. no. 223802) is an interchangeable set for knitting in the round and in rows: 8 pairs of wooden needle tips in sizes 3.5 to 8.0 mm, 4 cables and a cotton bag for storage. The wooden tips have a very smooth surface, so the stitches slide along easily.
Needle tips and cables can be combined freely. One set covers a wide range of needle sizes and cable lengths, so you don't need to buy a fixed circular needle for every project. If needed, the cable end stoppers supplied turn the circular needles into straight knitting needles with just one tip, for working cardigan pieces.
Combining tips and cables
Choose the needle size to suit your yarn and your pattern, then fit the matching tips onto a cable. Choose the cable according to what you are knitting: the 60 cm cables suit smaller circumferences, while the longer cables give more room for wide pieces such as blankets, shawls or cardigans. All the stitches should sit loosely on the cable without being squashed together. As the cable length is measured including the needle tips, it matches the finished needle length. For cardigan pieces or knitting in rows, fit the cable end stoppers onto one end of the cable and work as you would with a needle with one tip. The stoppers also keep your stitches safe when you put a project aside.
Storage in the cotton bag
The bag is made of 100 % cotton in petrol/natural and has a zipped inside pocket for cables, stoppers and accessories. This keeps the wooden tips together and means you have the set to hand when you are out and about.
