Prym Sew-On Hook and Loop Tape in White – Hook and Loop Strips, 20 mm

Prym sew-on hook and loop tape consists of one hook strip and one loop strip, and fastens bags, cushion covers, jackets or covers. It is 20 mm wide, 60 cm long and made of 100% polyamide. The strips are designed for 1,000 openings and closings without the material wearing out.

You can wash and clean the tape again and again without the grip weakening. This makes it suitable for textiles that go into the wash regularly. On hard, smooth surfaces, however, the self-adhesive version from Prym is the better choice.

Sewing on the tape

Cut the hook and loop strips to the length you need and sew both parts on separately. Stitch them down all the way round, close to the edges, so that the ends do not lift and come away. Place the hook strip where it will not touch skin or fine knits, as the hooks can roughen delicate fabrics. Before washing, close the hook and loop fastener so that no fluff or other items of laundry catch on the hooks.
