Prym half-moon shoulder pads M-L – for a shaped shoulder line

The Prym half-moon shoulder pads (art. no. 993867) shape and define the shoulder line on set-in sleeves, for example on knitwear, jackets and blazers. You sew them in between the lining and the outer fabric. The pack contains one pair in size M-L with a black cover made of 100% polyester.

The pads are designed to be sewn in and have no hook-and-loop fastening. They are washable up to 30 °C, so you do not have to remove them when caring for the garment.

Fitting the pads

The pads sit between the outer fabric and the lining in the shoulder area. Pin them in place before sewing and check that both sides lie in the same position and the shoulder line looks symmetrical. Then sew them into the seam allowance of the armhole or fasten them to the lining with a few hand stitches, so that they do not shift when worn or washed. The pads are 15 mm thick in the centre.
