The Project 116 from Re:Designed in Walnut is a handmade project bag in 100% leather. It keeps the yarn, knitting needles and accessories for your current knitting project protected. At H 20 × W 32.5 × D 20 cm, it has room for larger projects. Inside pockets keep knitting needles and small tools separate from the main compartment, so they don't lie loose among the yarn and your knitting.

Re:Designed uses its Urban Leather Quality for this bag: soft cowhide that is dyed before the finish. The natural structure stays visible as a result. After dyeing, the surface is given a light wax coating that makes it smooth and soft. Grain and colour effect may vary slightly, and every bag is one of a kind. Walnut is a warm brown.

Carrying and closing

The Project 116 has two carry handles. For when you are out and about, an adjustable, detachable crossbody strap is included, so you can carry the bag over the shoulder or across the body. If you only carry it by hand at home or to a knitting group, simply take the strap off. A metal zip keeps yarn and accessories together, so nothing falls out in transit.

Caring for the leather bag

Re:Designed recommends treating the leather regularly with the RE:DESIGNED leather balm. This increases durability and makes the leather more dirt- and water-repellent. Try the balm sparingly on an inconspicuous spot first.
