Städter Oskar Mini Loaf Tin – Non-Stick for Small Cakes

The Städter Oskar the MINI loaf tin is a small metal baking tin with a non-stick coating for mini loaf cakes. It measures 15 × 8 × 5 cm and holds 450 ml. That way you can bake small portions without filling a large tin.

Oskar belongs to the Städter Kids series. According to Städter, the tin is suitable for small treasure chests, for example; the manufacturer offers matching designs to download, print and craft. The tin is heat-resistant up to 230 °C and, according to the manufacturer, is made without PFAS.

Preparing the tin

Rinse the tin out with hot water before first use. Before baking, spray it with baking release spray or grease it lightly, and dust it with flour as well if needed. To remove the cake, do not use sharp objects or metal utensils, so that the coating is not damaged.

Recipe and cleaning

With a capacity of 450 ml, a recipe for a standard loaf tin will not fit. Scale the quantity of batter down to the small tin and fill it only far enough for the batter to rise. Clean the tin with hot water, a little washing-up liquid and a cloth. Do not use scouring pads, cleaning sponges or abrasive cleaners. The tin is not dishwasher safe.
