Städter Embossed Hare Cookie Cutter 9 cm – Hares from Dough, Fondant and Marzipan

The Städter embossed hare cookie cutter is made of stainless steel and cuts out 9 cm hares from dough, fondant or marzipan. Thanks to the pre-embossed design, the shape gets visible detail. You can also use the cutter for crafting and modelling, for example with modelling clay, salt dough or Fimo.

The hare motif suits Easter, animal themes and spring and summer biscuits. The cutter belongs to the Städter embossed stainless steel cookie cutters, which are available in other motifs.

Making the embossed hare

Roll the dough out evenly, not too thin, so that the embossing stays visible. Dust the cutter lightly with flour, place it straight down and press it through evenly. Carefully release the hare from the cutter without pulling at the edge. With well-chilled dough, the outlines stay sharper during baking. Wash the cutter after use and dry it well.

Which size and what for?

At 9 cm, the hare suits larger Easter biscuits, fondant decorations or salt dough pendants. For smaller biscuits, the series offers further hare cutters in other sizes. If you use the cutter for Fimo or modelling clay, do not use it for food afterwards.
