Lizard and salamander embossing cookie cutter – 7 cm, stainless steel

The Städter lizard and salamander embossing cookie cutter is made of stainless steel and cuts out dough, fondant or marzipan. The pre-embossed design gives the cut-out shapes a visible texture. At 7.0 cm, the cutter suits biscuits, cake decorations and small figures.

The cutter can also be used for crafting and modelling, for example with modelling clay, salt dough or FIMO. You can use the animal motif as a lizard or a salamander, for jungle, dinosaur or animal themes.

Using the embossing cutter

Roll out the dough evenly and lightly dust the cutter with flour. For fondant, use icing sugar or cornflour. Press the cutter firmly straight down and carefully release the shape. The embossing stays especially clear if the dough hardly rises when baked, such as shortcrust pastry. Clean the cutter after use and dry it.

For modelling too

With modelling clay, salt dough or FIMO, cut the shape out of the rolled-out material. Once you have used the cutter for modelling materials, do not use it for food afterwards.
