Städter Kangaroo Embossing Cookie Cutter – Cut and Emboss the Motif

The Städter kangaroo embossing cookie cutter (art. no. 199705) is made of stainless steel and cuts the motif out of dough, fondant or marzipan. The embossing also presses the inner details into the surface, so your kangaroo has more than just an outline. At 13 cm, the cutter is large enough for single eye-catching pieces on biscuits, cakes or gift tags.

According to Städter, the cutter is rustproof, food-safe and dishwasher safe. You can also use it for crafting, for example with modelling clay, salt dough, clay or FIMO.

Getting a good impression

Roll the dough out evenly and press the cutter firmly down to the work surface. Chilled shortcrust dough keeps its outlines better, and doughs with little raising agent hold the embossing after baking. With fondant and marzipan, lightly dust the cutter and work surface with icing sugar or cornflour so nothing sticks. If scraps stick in the embossing, they come away easily after soaking. Once the cutter has been used with modelling clay, salt dough or FIMO, do not use it for food again.
