How to cut out shapes

Roll the dough out evenly and lightly dust the cutter with flour, or with icing sugar for fondant or marzipan. Press the cutter down firmly and straight, then lift the shape out carefully. If the dough is sticky, chill it first. The cutting edge is sharp, so keep your fingers away from it when pressing down.

Also for crafts

You can cut shapes from modelling clay, salt dough or Fimo, for example for pendants or winter decorations. Once you have used a cutter for craft materials, you should not use it for food again.
