The Victorinox Pioneer Alox (art. no. 0.8201.26) is a Swiss Army knife with 8 functions for the home, workshop, trades and leisure. All the tools sit between two ribbed Alox scales made of anodised aluminium in silver-grey. At 93 mm long and weighing 71 g, the knife is medium-sized and compact, so it fits in a trouser pocket and can be attached to a key ring.

Using the tools

The 3 mm screwdriver loosens small screws, for example on glasses or electrical appliances, while the 7 mm screwdriver suits larger slotted screws. Do not use the screwdrivers as levers or chisels: the tools may otherwise bend or break. The wire stripper removes the insulation from thin cables without you having to use the blade. The awl pierces holes in leather, card or soft wood and widens them. Use the large blade for cutting. As it does not lock, place whatever you are cutting on a firm surface and keep your fingers out of the blade's path.
