Victorinox Signature Lite Emergency Tool pocket tool

Victorinox Signature Lite Emergency Tool – small pocket tool with light and whistle

The Victorinox Signature Lite Emergency Tool is a compact pocket tool for small cutting, writing and fine tasks. It combines a small blade, scissors, nail file with screwdriver (2.5 mm), LED, retractable ballpoint pen, whistle and key ring. Closed, it is 58 mm long, 18 mm wide and 12 mm high, and weighs 24 g.

The yellow handle glows in the dark: it stores energy from room light and sunlight during the day, which makes it easier to find in poor light. You can use the whistle to signal your position in an emergency.

What the tools are for

The small blade cuts paper, string, packaging or fruit. The scissors trim threads, labels and adhesive tape. Use the nail file to care for your fingernails; the 2.5 mm screwdriver on the file fits small slotted screws, for example on glasses or small appliances. The retractable ballpoint pen is for quick notes, and the LED for brief lighting, for example in a drawer, toolbox or tent.

Who it suits

At 58 mm and 24 g, the Signature Lite is a very small model for light tasks. You can attach it to a bunch of keys or a hook via the key ring. The blade cannot be locked and is opened with two hands. For heavy-duty cutting, choose a larger knife with a locking blade.
