Rayher Silicone Mould Bubble Candles – Pour 12 Candles in Three Sizes

The Rayher Bubble Candles silicone mould is a candle mould for pouring with wax. It has 12 cavities in three sizes: 3 × 50 × 50 mm, 4 × 40 × 40 mm and 5 × 35 × 35 mm. This lets you pour small candles in different sizes in one go, for example for table decorations, gifts or candle groupings.

The silicone is extremely flexible and keeps its shape, so the candles come out of the mould easily. The mould is reusable, frost-resistant and heat-resistant (-40 °C to 240 °C) and suitable for all types of wax. You decide the height of the candles yourself by the filling level.

Pouring the bubble candles

The mould must be clean, dust-free and dry. Detailed instructions are included in the pack. The process in brief:

• Use a pointed object to make a small hole through the centre of the base of each cavity and thread the wick through.
• Secure the wick from the outside with a needle or wooden skewer so that it stays centred.
• Heat the wax in a bain-marie, colour it as desired, then pour it into the cavities.
• Leave the wax to cool thoroughly and remove the candles from the mould.
• Clean the mould with water and a little washing-up liquid.

Planning the amount of wax

Rayher gives the wax required per candle for wax pellets: approx. 40 g for the small, approx. 53 g for the medium and approx. 77 g for the large candle. If you want to fill all 12 cavities at once, you will need around 640 g of wax. Allow a little extra so that you don't have to melt more wax in the middle of pouring.
