Artemio rolling pin – even rolling of dough, FIMO and clay

The Artemio rolling pin rolls out dough, fondant and modelling materials such as FIMO or clay evenly. It is made of plastic with a stainless steel axle, and the surface is smooth and non-stick, so dough and polymer clay stick less. The ergonomically shaped handle sits comfortably in your hand and helps you roll out larger amounts under control.

The smooth surface is easy to clean after use. According to Artemio, it can be used for fondant, biscuit dough, marzipan, pizza dough, clay and FIMO.

Rolling out evenly

Work on a smooth, clean surface and roll from the centre outwards. With even pressure, the layer ends up the same thickness all over. Give the dough or modelling material a quarter turn now and then, so the sheet does not stick to the worktop and keeps an even shape. Knead FIMO and other polymer clays thoroughly beforehand until they are pliable. This gives you smooth sheets without cracks at the edges.

For dough or for modelling material

The rolling pin can be used for both. Once you have used it for FIMO, clay or other modelling materials, do not use it for food afterwards. It is best to keep it for one of the two uses from the start.
