Efco universal polishing paste – polish metals and plastics, with tarnish protection

Efco universal polishing paste brings metals, plastics and other surfaces to a shine. It contains an anti-tarnish agent that protects the polished surfaces afterwards. You apply the paste to the surface with a fine cotton cloth and buff it to a shine.

Efco lists the paste in its range of casting resin accessories and, in its craft tips, also names it for finishing silver clay jewellery, together with a burnishing tool and sanding sponges. The 50 ml content is plenty for smaller craft projects and pieces of jewellery.

How to polish

First remove dust and grease from the surface. Put a little paste on the cotton cloth and rub the surface in small circles with light pressure. Polish until you have the shine you want, then wipe off any residue with a clean cloth. Remove deep scratches and sanding marks beforehand with fine sandpaper or a sanding sponge, as a polishing paste only smooths fine marks. With delicate plastics, test the paste on an inconspicuous spot first.
