Rayher Silicone Mould Rainbow – Cast Your Own Candle Holders

With the Rayher Silicone Mould Rainbow (art. no. 36149000) you can cast rainbow-shaped candle holders in craft concrete, craft concrete 5in1, Raysin 200 or casting resin. The silicone is extremely flexible and keeps its shape, so the hardened piece comes out of the mould easily. The mould is reusable and withstands temperatures from -40 °C to 240 °C.

The mould measures 7.8 × 4 cm and is 6 cm high. The hole has a diameter of 22 mm. Check that your candle fits before casting.

Casting the candle holder

Rinse the mould with water before use. You do not need a release agent such as oil. Mix the casting compound according to the instructions on the pack and pour it into the mould. For one candle holder, allow approx. 220 g of craft concrete or approx. 180 g of Raysin 200. Then tap the mould lightly on the work surface so that air bubbles rise to the top. Leave the compound to harden completely, then carefully peel the silicone away from the piece.

Care and reuse

After casting, clean the mould with water and a little washing-up liquid. This keeps it in shape so you can cast more candle holders.
