Rayher silicone mould, square vase with circle – for a vase or candle holder

With the Rayher silicone mould for a square vase with circle, you can cast a square vase or a holder for taper candles. According to Rayher, the silicone is extremely elastic and keeps its shape, so you can release the finished piece easily and use the mould again afterwards. An acrylic test tube (20 mm Ø) is included.

According to Rayher, the mould is suitable for Kreativ-Beton, Kreativ-Beton 5in1, Raysin 200 and casting resin. The silicone is frost- and heat-resistant from -40 °C to 240 °C.

How to use it

Rinse the mould with water before first use. According to Rayher, no additional release agent such as oil is needed. Mix the casting compound following the instructions on the pack, pour it into the mould and let it cure completely before you remove the piece. For this mould, Rayher gives a guide of approx. 480 g of Kreativ-Beton or Kreativ-Beton 5in1, or approx. 380 g of Raysin 200. This lets you plan the quantity before you start mixing.

Care and note

Clean the mould with water and a little washing-up liquid to keep it in shape and reusable. Once you have used a mould for concrete, casting resin or other craft compounds, you should not use it for food again.
